I recently stayed at a lovely guesthouse on a quiet road in a charming Khmer neighborhood. The owner and his family were incredibly nice and accommodating. The room I stayed in was spacious with plenty of cupboard space, and the bathroom was also quite large. The guesthouse is conveniently located near street stalls and food options that are open day and night. The big market is just around the corner and the town center is just a short walk away. it was a comfortable and safe stay, providing great value for a classic Cambodian experience.

I stayed at Samnop Samnang Guesthouse and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. The beds were comfortable with fresh white sheets, and the room had a good-sized desk for working. The manager, despite limited English, went above and beyond to assist me, even allowing me to use his computer to print my Vietnam visa. The location was convenient, only a short 10-15 minute walk to the night market and town center. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

The only drawbacks were that the mattress was very hard and there was only one thin pillow provided. Additionally, there was no chair in the room for comfortable seating and no kettle for making hot drinks, which are standard amenities in most hotels.
